My journey

Meet Lisa Maddock
I’m a mum of two boys, a personal trainer, and someone who knows exactly what it’s like to juggle a million things at once. Between work, kids’ football runs, setting up a business, and running a household—I’ve learned how to make fitness and long-term weight loss work around real life.

In 2012, on my first maternity leave, I joined a gym. I wanted to lose the baby weight—but I didn’t have the confidence or the knowledge. I stuck to the treadmill, used the same machines, and hoped for the best. Over the years, my weight went up and down. I tried slimming clubs, quick fixes, extreme diets. I even lived off juice shakes for six months before my wedding. I looked great in the dress—but the weight came back. And I felt worse than before. On my second maternity leave, I joined a mum-friendly CrossFit class and finally stopped making excuses. I saw what was possible when I made movement a priority. But then work kicked back in—and life took over, again.

I nearly gave up. I was ready to try another extreme. But I didn’t. I gave it one last go—this time, the right way.
I hired a coach, changed my habits, and changed my life.

What changed everything for me? A coach. Now I get to be that coach for others.

Now, I coach people who are where I once was: stuck in yo-yo dieting, short on time, and unsure where to start. My approach is simple, realistic, and based on what I know actually works for busy lives. This isn’t about extremes. It’s about showing up, building habits that last, and creating a healthy lifestyle that fits you—not the other way around.

If you’re tired of starting over, maybe it’s time to do it differently.
